We offer funding grants, CPD, audits of practice and intensive support to schools in:
Bexley, Bromley, Camden, City of London, Croydon, Greenwich, Hounslow, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Southwark, Sutton, Wandsworth and Westminster.
Are you an experienced teacher or school leader with a passion for early reading and phonics?
Wandle English Hub is seeking exceptional practitioners to join our team of Literacy Specialists and help transform literacy outcomes for children across London.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside schools, coaching leaders and teachers, supporting the implementation of high-quality phonics and early reading provision, and contributing to system-wide school improvement. Literacy Specialists receive expert training, ongoing professional development and the chance to collaborate with a network of highly skilled literacy leaders.
We are particularly interested in applicants with strong experience of Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised, especially those who would be willing to support schools in Lewisham, Bexley and surrounding areas.
The role is undertaken on a secondment basis, with release time reimbursed to schools, making it an excellent professional development opportunity for both the successful candidate and their school.

Throughout the programme, participants will explore the latest research and best practice in supporting children who need the most support to learn to read, including children with SEND.
The programme is designed to strengthen inclusive, high-quality classroom practice and ensure that all children are able to access effective reading teaching and intervention.
